WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman David Kustoff's (R-TN) bill, H.R. 1155, the Recovery of Stolen Checks Act, unanimously passed out of the House Committee on Ways and Means. This bipartisan legislation would give taxpayers who have their paper check from the U.S. Department of the Treasury lost or stolen in the mail the option to receive their payment electronically. 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) recently introduced the Small Business Investment Act of 2025 in the House of Representatives. The Small Business Investment Act will make it easier for small businesses to access the financing they need to grow and succeed in today’s economy. Specifically, this bill would expand IRC Section 1202 eligibility to more businesses, make it easier and cheaper for businesses to raise capital, and give businesses more flexibility in their financing options.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) and Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski (D-IL) introduced the bipartisan, Rural America Health Corps Act, in the House of Representatives. This bill will establish a student loan repayment demonstration program for eligible providers who agree to work for five years in a rural area with a shortage of primary, dental, or mental healthcare providers.
