This partisan bill will cost our nation more than $1.5 trillion, forces costly Green New Deal policies, reduces states' flexibility, and limits building new roads and bridges.
WASHINGON, DC – Today, Rep. David Kustoff (TN-08), signed on as a co-sponsor to the PPP Access for Rural Hospitals Act. This bill would allow smaller hospitals that are part of a larger health system to waive affiliation requirements to be eligible for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Currently, small, rural hospitals that are part of a larger health system are not eligible for the Paycheck Protection Program if the health system has more than 500 employees across all of its facilities.

This portal reopened today as a result of funding authorized by Congress through the Paycheck Protection Program and Healthcare Enhancement Act. The legislation provided additional funding for farmers and ranchers and certain other agricultural businesses affected by the Coronavirus.
