WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) today released the following statement on President Trump's Fiscal Year 2018 budget blueprint:

"I appreciate the President's fiscally-responsible budget for 2018, which includes a $4.5 trillion reduction in spending and balances, something the American people never got from the previous administration. This proposal will be valuable as the Budget Committee works on a plan to introduce in the full House.

"I voted for the American Health Care Act because our current health care system is failing Tennesseans. We promised the American people we would repeal and replace Obamacare, and today, the House voted to keep our word and provide relief.

"In Tennessee, every single insurance provider has pulled out of the individual market in 16 counties, affecting more than 1.1 million people.
