Today's announcement coincides with the Administration's recertification of Iran's technical compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the 2015 agreement on oversight of Iran's nuclear program. According to the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act, this certification from the president is required every 90 days.
