Rep. Kustoff Statement on U.S. Missile Strikes in Syria

Germantown, Tennessee – U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) today released the following statement in response to the U.S. military action taken against the Syrian regime:

"Assad's deliberate and heinous crimes against his own people must end," said Congressman Kustoff. "For years, President Obama did nothing as the Syrian regime repeatedly crossed the red line. Last night, President Trump took decisive military action and sent a clear message to the brutal regime – the United States and our allies will not tolerate the use of chemical weapons against innocent civilians. I pray for the brave men and women of our armed forces who are carrying out this important mission."
