Rep. Kustoff Applauds President Trump’s Plans for U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem

Germantown, Tennessee – U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) today released the following statement after the Trump Administration announced official plans to establish a United States embassy this year in Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel.

"I applaud President Trump for moving swiftly and keeping his promise to open a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem," said Congressman Kustoff. "The decision to establish our presence in Jerusalem on May 14, 2018 – the 70th anniversary of Israel's independence – is historic and shows the United States' continued desire to strengthen ties with our greatest ally."
