Rep. Kustoff Applauds FedEx’s $1 Billion Investment in Memphis Hub

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) today released the following statement applauding FedEx's announcement of a $1 billion investment in their FedEx Express hub in Memphis. This expansion in the Mid-South is part of the company's continued investment following tax reform.

"FedEx's decision to expand their Memphis headquarters further demonstrates the company's commitment to our region," said Congressman Kustoff. "With more than 11,000 team members in the Mid-South, FedEx is the Greater Memphis area's largest employer, and this expansion will make West Tennessee home to one of the most sophisticated cargo hubs in the world."

In January, FedEx committed more than $3.2 billion in wage increases, employee bonuses, pension funding and expanded U.S. capital investment following the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
