Kustoff’s Statement Following Articles of Impeachment

WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Congressman David Kustoff (TN-08), issued the following statement following Speaker Pelosi's announcement that she will introduce two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

"Today's impeachment announcement is no surprise. Since day one, Democrats have been planning to impeach President Trump. Democrats have presented no case for impeachment. There was no bribery, no quid pro quo, and no abuse of power," said Rep. Kustoff. "It is unfortunate that Democrats continue to be motivated by politics instead of serving the American people. I am confident the American people see through this partisan effort.
