Kustoff Reappointed Chairman of House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) named Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) Chairman of the House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group for the 119th Congress.
"I am honored to be reappointed Chairman of the House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group for the 119th Congress,” said Congressman Kustoff. "Now more than ever, it is imperative we show the rest of the world that the United States stands firmly with our greatest friend and ally in the Middle East, Israel. I thank Speaker Johnson for establishing this group that will further strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship and build a better understanding of our two democracies. I look forward to working with my colleagues in Washington and Jerusalem on this important initiative."
The House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group brings together selected American and Israeli lawmakers to discuss ways to strengthen the partnership between the U.S. and Israeli legislative bodies.
