July 12, 2017

Washington, D.C. - In a Financial Services Committee hearing today, U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) questioned Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen about her interest in being re-nominated by President Trump to serve a second term.

The Congressman also asked Chair Yellen for more clarity on the Fed's specific plans to reduce their balance sheet and if there are concerns that these actions could disrupt economic growth.

Kustoff is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, serving on three subcommittees for the 115th Congress: Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, Oversight and Investigation and Terrorism and Illicit Finance. He previously served as the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee under President George W. Bush.
