Kustoff, Miller Introduce Resolution to Condemn Antisemitism in the United States and Abroad

November 28, 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) and Congressman Max Miller (R-OH), the only two Republican Jewish members in the House of Representatives, introduced a resolution to condemn and denounce antisemitism in the United States and around the world.

Since Hamas’ horrific and barbaric attack on October 7, 2023, that killed over 1,000 innocent Israeli civilians and 30 Americans, antisemitic incidents across the U.S. have spiked 388% over the same period last year, according to reports from the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Center on Extremism.

"Since October 7th, we have seen an alarming rise in antisemitic incidents, attacks, harassment, and discrimination both in the United States and across the globe," said Congressman Kustoff. "Such hate has no place in our national discourse, and it is imperative leaders voice their strong opposition to these horrifying acts of violence and discrimination. I urge my colleagues to support this important resolution that will show the world that the United States’ support for the State of Israel and the Jewish community is steadfast and unwavering."

“The World has seen a drastic rise of antisemitism since October 7th that is deeply disheartening and extremely concerning,” said Congressman Max Miller. “Elected leaders must have the courage to condemn and fight all forms of domestic and global antisemitism.”

This resolution was endorsed by the Republican Jewish Coalition.
