Kustoff Announces Subcommittee Assignments for 115th Congress
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative David Kustoff (TN-08) today announced he has been selected to serve on three subcommittees of the House Financial Services Committee for the 115th Congress:
- Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit
- Oversight and Investigations
- Terrorism and Illicit Finance
"I am honored to accept a more focused role within the Financial Services Committee," said Kustoff. "With a Republican majority in the House and Senate and a new Republican President, Congress has an immediate opportunity to strengthen our nation. There is no better time to work for reduced regulations, fight illegal funding for terrorist groups and build a strong economy that promotes job growth. I am excited to serve on the Financial Services Committee during this time of productivity, and I promise to work hard every day for West Tennessee."
"As we begin a new and exciting era for our nation under a unified Republican Government, our committee and subcommittees have a chance to lead in a bold, new direction. I look forward to working with all of our members to help build a healthy economy that offers everyone an equal opportunity to succeed," said House Financial Services Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX).
