WASHINGTON, DC—Congressman David Kustoff (TN-08), spent his second day at the border in El Paso, TX meeting and getting briefed by local Tennessee military officers at Fort Bliss. They discussed the importance of military readiness and proper training and how they are the key to successful missions.

“I was honored to have the opportunity to meet with local leaders at Fort Bliss to discuss how Tennessee will continue playing a crucial role in America’s defense and national security. Fort Bliss is an essential base for those who serve on the front lines, and it is clear just how vital it is that our men and women in uniform are properly prepared for their missions,” said Rep. Kustoff. “It has been a real honor to hear from those Tennessee troops leading the operations at Fort Bliss-they make our state proud. In Washington, I will continue to support them to ensure they have the proper readiness training so they remain the best prepared and succeed in their missions.”
