Congressman Kustoff Introduces Resolution to Designate National Wreaths Across America Day

December 15, 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Congressman David Kustoff (TN-08) recently introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives to designate December 17, 2022, as "National Wreaths Across America Day".

Wreaths Across America honors our nation's heroes by donating and transporting remembrance wreaths to be placed on the graves of veterans. Over the past 31 years, 14.4 million wreaths have been distributed to various national cemeteries, veterans' memorials, and Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

"America's veterans valiantly fought to defend our great nation and preserve freedom," said Congressman Kustoff. "This organization's mission to place wreaths on our veterans' graves recognizes them for their service and sacrifice. I am proud to introduce this resolution in the House of Representatives to help honor the legacies of our brave servicemen and women."
