ICYMI: Congressman David Kustoff speaks at Jackson Rotary Club meeting

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local meeting hosted a special guest speaker Wednesday.

8th District Congressman David Kustoff spoke at the Jackson Rotary Club meeting held at First United Methodist Church. Kustoff spoke about the potential impact of tariffs.

He also spoke about congress spending habits and mentioned immigration and what the process of deportation looks like.

“So, that’s being done on a case-by-case basis. With view basis in the end, the president is going to need support. Legislatively, he’s doing what he can do through executive orders and through executive actions,” said Kustoff.

Kustoff spoke heavily on how congress must pass one reconciliation bill that secures our borders, restores American energy dominance and extends the 2017 Trump tax cuts.
