Kustoff's Bill Naming Jackson Courthouse for Judge James D. Todd Passes House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Congressman David Kustoff's (TN-08) legislation to name the courthouse in Jackson, Tennessee after Judge James D. Todd passed the House of Representatives. This legislation will designate the United States Courthouse located at 111 South Highland Avenue in Jackson, Tennessee as the "James D. Todd United States Courthouse".

Originally introduced by Congressman Kustoff in the House of Representatives in December 2021, the companion bill passed in the United States Senate by Unanimous Consent on November 30, 2022. It will now go to the President for his signature.

"For 36 years, Judge James Todd has displayed his faithfulness and commitment to the federal bench, to the legal profession, and to the Constitution," said Congressman Kustoff. "It was an honor to work with Members of Congress to have the United States Courthouse in Jackson officially named the James D. Todd United States Courthouse. It is a truly fitting tribute to such a respected jurist.
